The Gaspereau Valley Gazette first appeared in May of 2007. Its purpose is to improve communications within the Valley thus creating more of a sense of community. It also gives local businesses a place to advertise.

The paper contains: Historical Notes, Spotlight on Business, From the Pantry, Sports and Recreation, Choir Corner, Poetry, and Humour.

Copies are distributed prior to the first day of each month through the following locations: Grand Pré Convenience Store, Reid's Meats & Kwik-Way in Melanson, Gaspereau Valley Fibres, Gaspereau Gas & Convenience, the Gaspereau Community Hall, Gaspereau Valley Elementary, Gaspereau Winery, Ridge Road Baptist Church, the White Rock Community Centre, Avery's Farm Market of Greenwich, Boso Bamboo Boutique in Wolfville, and the Clayground.
